Ready for a healthy dose of nostalgia? Check out this incredible supercut of every single title screen of every single game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System and the Japanese Famicom.
YouTube user NicksplosionFX put together the video, assembling the title screens in rough alphabetical order. As Wired (who alerted us to its existence) notes, it might not be every single NES start screen ever built, but to collect ’em all isn’t really the point. The video is a fascinating – and entirely hypnotic – piece of history, showing off the incredible range of start screens which tended to be much more elaborate than the games themselves. From the disquieting menace of the Cosmic Wars screen to the adorable animated sequence at the beginning of Adventures of Lolo, this video is a total trip. Love it below.
